Objective

The aim of this Training Network Course is to present and go into detail in the state of the art of mapping soil moisture from hydrological/agronomic perspectives. The course will cover aspects related to:

1. data collection, from both in situ and remote sensing sources;
2. data uncertainty, quantifying and incorporating it on hydrological/agronomic modelling;
3. linking scales, from the plot to the global;
4. showing actual experiences.
